However they have units that sit vacant longer. and tend to have more problems from the tenants they do have.Just like I do from my one unit that has just average fixtures, faucets, layout and paint schemes.I am happy to ereport back thank you to all the original respondents to the original thread.

It would be a complete disaster for others especially those that are not in situ to respond real time to the daily issues.. remember the tenant base is the very bottom of the barrel so your going to have to deal with their lives and drama's constantly.

I was responding to this preference, and said that I would accomplish this via other means such as overlay gyp if the popcorn was painted, as the paint layers usually preclude spraying and scraping.What you're addressing -- cost, not personal preference -- is a different issue.
