It doesn’t take a numbers whiz to see the connection: if you post, and build a reputation as a helpful and knowledgeable member of the community, people are going to want to connect with you.

Find one that's reputable and offer to pay them for a couple of hours to go through the property with you.  

You can even check on their local reputation to an extent through BP (do other local investors connect with them?) 

Welcome.Bay Area has some very local nuances like sewer laterals and city-specific taxes - both property and transfer.I'll tell you right off the bat that the 1.25% CA property tax rate you see in the online calculators... nope, way higher typically.It's a hot seller's market, so listing agents and sellers are snobby about the local reputations of both your agent and the preapproval letter included in your offer.
