I'm an old guy and don't pick up 40 lb bags of anything anymore.

I'm new to the real estate investing game and am interested in picking up a few properties to Airbnb.

Easy to pick up a phone and talk investing.

Then pick the ones I like, put my own spin on it, and match those options to the budget friendly versions.Some of my favorites that I believe will appeal to the majority of buyers AND not break the bank are as follows:Kitchen- white shaker cabinets, or two-toned (as John mentioned).

For example: I picked up a B+ duplex for $500k that I’m house hacking and I have one side leased out for $2,500. 

There are still people finding deals in the area, I would suggest picking some of the wholesalers brains around here.

Come to find out I didn't pick the right Broker.

I have told them I can't do anything until I can exercise the options.The market is somewhat cooling off and that may effect my decision on keeping or flipping the properties.I have done several 1031's with @Dave Foster and he's the best at this process.I am managing more properties than I want to already and would need to cut back on some if I plan to pick up any of the three properties ( they will need some cosmetic work for sure).The first position notes are one's I hold.
