For me it’s more about the progress of retiring mortgage payments than it is about interest saving but this is probably the minority opinion on BP.

In my opinion, most of those that have no experience in real estate and want to get in the industry can look at being an agent to start.

Best approach in my opinion is to just find an investor-friendly mortgage broker in your area and ask to see your options.

(Will leave my opinion of that fund for another time) If that is tax free or tax deferred would come into play too.Well, that's an option some people choose because it's quite safe as long as Oregon funds the pension system. 

From what I've researched so far I don't think it's gonna be an issue, and I'm in the process of getting as many opinions as possible, but I'd like to be more certain before I move any further.

I see nothing wrong with this part as there is nothing wrong with adding to the contract that he remediate any issues arising from the rehab for one year.The renting to him can be a separate issue and I see you have plenty of opinions about being careful about this already.

So I’m looking at a couple mf homes in the Norfolk area and would like to be able to contact someone with experience and send them link and ask for their opinion.

Often distressed with some work needed but the end game is better this way in my opinion.
