I am trying to soak up as much information on real estate investing so that I can hit the ground running when I land back stateside.What books/podcasts/articles/other resources would you guys recommend so that I can widen my knowledge of real estate investing and give myself the best opportunity for success?

If you knock out all of them you will have gained a ton of knowledge to get you ready to start investing.

Hello All,This is my first post on BiggerPockets and I am excited to get to know some of you and gain more knowledge.

I've actually been apart of this community for awhile now but mainly just as a knowledge source for learning more about investing in real estate.

Would love to sit down and exchange knowledge :) 

But on BP  195 folks were cheering him on like it was a great move and they all want to do the same.. that is your mind set right now.. a huge swath of the investing public with not enough experience or knowledge to know what is risky and what is not..

I’m now trying to figure out if I should go out of state (have only very limited knowledge of a few areas out of state, so that’s nerve wracking) OR if I should try and invest in CA but not in my neighborhood, maybe Oakland, Richmond, not sure.

I found the more we grow in both age & knowledge, the clearer & more apparent the toxicity is visible.
