I will seek out lenders that work with international co-signers.

It's tough to come up with say 25% down for your first investment property in this area because duplexes and triplex go for 300k+ around here.Yeah I'm sure people lie about that stuff all the time, which negatively impacts the lender.

I'm in California so out-of-state is definitely my best option.I read some negative feedback about Roofstock (they do volume and automation vs. quality and real people) and read some good stuff about Rent 2 Retirement but I've tried to talk to them for 3 weeks now and they didn't show up to the calls scheduled using their system, so I feel like I'm in a dead-end with these two options.I was wondering if anyone knew about other companies or people who specialize in turnkey LTR properties?

But lets face it, at that point you've got plenty of other problems including a Federal discrimation lawsuit if people keep wanting to break their lease with you.People have lifes, and "stuff" happens.

It’s very tempting to jump on stuff now because it’s so hot but it’s definitely not the right move.

For example, often fire damage is water damage--they put the red stuff out with wet stuff.
