They can't take your plumber/electrician job to mexico/india and can't bring an illegal or h1b here to do it.Bottom line.

However, the local H/A may put a limit on how much they'll allow for total rent (it's prob close to market since they want to place the voucher recipient in a place).I'd also make sure, if accepted, your tenant gives you the contact of their case-worker.

Broker apts and it happens with off-market deals.I guess the only thing, as a wholesaler, is to get an accepted offer with an agreement not to market or accept back-up offers.Am not a big advocate of wholesaling on ethical grounds, but it happens.AS wholesaling is done or taught throughout the US.. its totally illegal in Oregon.. the RE commissioner will issue a cease and desist first time and really hammer you if your turned in a second time.. does not keep the practice from happening but.. if your one of those that gets somene pissed off and they go on line and file a simple complaint the state will follow up.. 

The people being hurt the most by coronavirus are service workers, and I'd bet homeownership rates among that group are a lot lower than folks with steadier white-collar jobs.

I would need to evict the tenant in the illegal third unit, or request that the owner do so prior to me taking ownership.

Illegal or DIY possession is a varied topic on BP but no discussion around tax purchasers getting cited by the city inspectors for issues with the property.  

The last thing you want is a lease with illegal clauses in it.
