I would love to hear from some Canadians that have done Joint Ventures and/or Partnerships, specifically when one person provides the cash and financing ability, and the other partner finds the deals as well as oversees all management aspects.

If you are at 10k saved, you aren't ready to flip a house safely, even with a 203k loan. 203k for a flip is a great tool, but you have to understand how the draws work, work with the right contractors and know the renovation aspect from boot to hat.

It's heavily used by professionals in most industries (I work in Investment Banking and this is by far the most important financial indicator) and there are good reasons for that (best proxy for profitability overall, taking into account a lot of aspects of a deal).You can find spreadsheets online that can calculate that for you.

@Jay HinrichsI have not looked into the zoning aspect of it but I would not think it would be too big of a problem.A typical Hipcamp site would be out of the city center where zoning would be a little more relaxed and for the most part, people are not developing 50+ camping sites on their land.
