Is it because they can be more of a headache, complaints of "upstairs neighbor stomping, dog barking, baby crying!"

The reality is, for most people here on Bigger Pockets looking to buy a handful of rentals in all these low cost cash flow markets, it's like splitting hairs. 6 to one, half dozen to the other.

But with a second baby on the way and a desire to buy more, its time to hand this off. 

My hair-dresser and my co-workers told me similar stories from 30/20/10 years ago and I experience tremendous appreciation over the last 5 years.  

But, I think it really makes sense with the demographics with the baby boomers retiring, etc and what Gene calls the "silver tsunami." 

My wife was out and my 1.5yr old girl was sleeping…so I had no choice, I had to wake the baby and head over to the house!

Similar to you, we are probably putting down roots here in Florida, and with the cold winters and Baby Boomers retiring, the beaches of Florida are likely to shape up to be a great place to hold properties.  

This tenant left there sliding glass door open and this poor little baby crawled outside and drowned in the pool...

The bathtub has the old style valves—one for hot and one for cold, and there's no limiter on the hot water.Anyhow, these tenants are having a baby soon and I wonder how I might protect the tenants from accidentally letting the baby get scaulded, and also protect myself from any lawsuites resulitng from scaulding water.Does anyone have any ideas?

I hope I am a little more mature now and can set baby step goals which will hopefully lead to closing on a deal in the next couple of months.
