A few weeks later, we closed on the house.During this project, we did run into a few other issues, mainly with some of the sub contractors, almost all of which had to be fired.

I could've probably found a contractor to do it for slightly less, but as I said that wasn't my main concern here. 

I have very little real estate experience, however I am a licensed contractor with lots of experience.  

I don't know about the rental market there for MFH or SFH.As someone who owns an Antique home I enjoyed looking at some SFH in Forest Park.   

So cities like Worcester or Lowell seem to fit the bill, but I'm very much open to new ideas and suggestions.Anyways, as I said before, I would love to meet/chat with any local investors, real estate agents, contractors, etc.

Does anybody happen to know of a general contractor in the Wilmington NC area they trust?

Should I refinance the property to a fixed rate and apply again even though I will no longer enjoy my low interest rate?

After the holding cost I would of been much better off paying a contractor for many more things. 

Forget about the gross and look at the net..Seems like some kinda vacation rentalI know a lot of people investing in these type of properties and don't care much about the income but focus on how they can enjoy the property themselves with friends and family.. 

This is all strictly for buy and hold investing with MFU.Any good contractors / property managers that I could rely on down there?
