Upstate New York and Florida have both caught my attention, but I’m uncertain which market aligns better with my long-term goal of building a portfolio of multifamily properties, specifically quadruplexes.

Title says most of it, my realtor has a relative with a duplex with burn damage in Oregon in the area I'm looking to buy my first househack.

My first thought was 50/50 but since I won't actually be doing all that much, I thought maybe it was too high.

Often it's " I haven't had any issues with my initial properties, but thanks anyway"  or "my mentor showed me how to do it successfully".  

My questions are:a.

My cash-flow is NOT affected by vacancy!

This morning I went to wire in funds for my clients to buy a property in SC.And because it was an assignment contract to ME as the buyer..

I think that my cleaning fee is already pretty low.Airbnb is always trying to get me to lower my nightly price and cleaning fees. 

I have both of my kids listed as authorized users on my cards.

It is the biggest cost/challenge for making rentals work in my opinion.
