It sounds like you have a pretty fair split on the work, but clearly you are taking on full weight of the financial risk.Seems like you have an good argument to get 60% or 70% of the net, given the imbalance on the $ risk.

You are right it isn’t the easiest thing to find someone that wants to work with you and will have similar goals to make the relationship go really smooth.Nothing wrong with having partners and a good mentor is worth their weight in gold.
