-Is it safe to apply for an FHA Loan at my age & use renter income to help with the mortgage?

If you use Redfin for your RE search, it will usually tell you the space rental.Personally, I wouldn't feel safe in earthquake/landslide country in a manufactured home, but that's just me.  

Also, you have to beware of who would be renting the workshop, as running a business could be against city/county regulations/laws, or could disturb the tenants in the home.My apologies if I seem to be negative, but better safe than sorry.Dawn

Is it safe?

I identified with the required time frame and I had listed a DST as a fail safe just in case something came up during the due diligence period, and sure enough an adjacent gas station's tanks were leaking benzine and the water flow was heading on to my land and ultimately the lender, even after a fairly decent phase 2 report from the engineers would not loan so I ended up buying into the DST which was not my first choice but still provided quarterly cash flow and appreciation.  

In addition to protecting ourselves, we also want these kids to be safe. 

Is there a safe percentage?

Providing clean safe modern housing choices and stay on the look out for improving revenue by adding laundry, sign rentals and cell tower installation, We will keep the assets in high demand for the future rental a while also keeping the investment package safe for potential sales.

I have roughly 10,000$ saved up and I want somewhere to put it that is safe and liquid while making me a little money in the meantime.
