Easiest step is to add gutter downspout extensions on all downspouts to draw water away from foundation. you need to check the grade on each part of the house to make sure that water will drain away and downhill if possible from your foundation. some add soil to the side of house to grade water away from house as well. thats all I got.

In an average year, the water bill comes to about 1k annual of which only about $160 is actually water, so I have debated including it in the budget because the numbers overall are easy to estimate and it eliminates a step.
