At this point I would like to start putting my profits into rentals, single and multi-family homes, and possibly apartment buildings down the road when finances allow. 

I own a small family real estate brokerage, should I buy flips thru my brokerage LLC?

Hi, we have a small family fund investing in Canadian mortgage funds (like a fund of funds) that already put capital in 6 managers.  

If it is a SFR single family, Condo, or Townhome you can use a Vacation home type of loan and only have to put 10% down. 

With the right lender, your 300K can achieve much more than merely purchasing single-family residences with cash.

If you are splitting it with family, then you are more than likely better off selling and going your separate ways.
