Agree with your don't over promote suggestion and hate knuckleheads who try to sell services, we all need to make a buck and some services are valuable.

It is not a site for those who conduct X number of deals per month or a forum to exploit as an advertising medium for self promotion, ther is alot of that.

That is why articles such as the one we are discussing are promoting the fraud issue.

They promote it as very comprehensive training with much details, free bonuses,etc.

A person at my local real estate club has been promoting judgment investing.

I left my father's company while continuing to work promotions, trade shows, conventions, autoshows, and some part time modeling and acting as well (which is what I currently do).I found bigger pockets after listening to a ton of podcasts, from the ask bigger pockets to house flipping junkie.

You have to be careful about self promotion on the site, so I will put in a plug for them.  

Venture deals for early-stage startups and small real estate projects from unproven promoters with shorter track records will be what is available to the people least able to sustain the losses.
