Then for each property, do a separate analysis on if its more beneficial for you to keep the property (e.g. does the cashflow return out weight the return of you just selling it on the market).

Sending a written offer, or a letter of intent, has more weight, but if you are just testing the waters a verbal "hey, I'm still out here" is probably fine.
