It also seems like there are 6+ month waiting lists to get into modern, resort style apartments around here so tenants may be out of luck if they take a gamble leaving, which i think is playing in us (Landlord's favor) as of now as they don't have as much bargaining power.

That would give it a more modern look.

Commitment is waning throughout society

Both have growing population, jobs and modern, diverse economies.

It’s as if we as a society don’t want a solid middle class.

I do not view exercise for the sake of exercise as being a normal or required activity however given present day societies pension for electronic toys (all thing done on a couch by internet) and avoidance of having to participate in such activities as shopping it is possible that exercise solely for the sake of exercise may be necessary.  

Some have said it means different things to different people...post modernism is persistent, but not logical. 

In our society instant gratification is what is pushed through social and media.

There are 3 nice, modern hotels in this town. 

But in todays society the healthcare field is highly governed by patient satisfaction almost, if not, more than delivering great healthcare.
