One person, of course, isn't a representative sample of anything, but once you factor in stuff like negativity bias, depictions of people of faith in the media, a few other chance run-ins with nutjobs, and the fact that it's far FAR too convenient to ignore all of the beneficial things that Christians (and those of other faiths) do for the world at large, and it's fairly easy to see why faith is something that gets attacked so much.

Your loan may have an assignment of rents clause and it is theoretically possible that the lender would seek to exercise that, but this is unlikely and would take many, many months before this could even be an option.
