Hi Tavis,Live with a roommate in a room vs an apartment = cheaper (or sleep for free at a relatives home).Drive an older car or walk = cheaper.Cook your own meals = cheaper.Have a limited reasonably priced wardrobe = cheaper.Don't drink and don't smoke = cheaper.Have your pay auto-deposited, and then manually move the amounts you need to spend ie. rent and food into another account that has a debit card.

However if it is under water the bank might bid up to the property value or less to entice third-party bidders as they generally do not want to own the property. yes if you win the bid with no lien surviving, then you should have clear title.

After I said I don't want anyone in and out of the house while we are out she went nuts texting saying the heat in the bathroom is not suficient and would blow her water pipes, Than I say you have a problem and you have to fix, you have a insulation problem NOT a little heater problem.

It will probably cost me a fair amount of $ but the hope is that I'll have less tenant tension from top/bottom units.As for electrical there is a sub panel that attaches to the basement unit... might be able to do something with that.I am open to other ideas on how to deal with the heating/cooling if possible and any other helpful tips on a top/bottom rental.If the heating/cooling, water, electrical aren't separated out, then I would have to have a built in price factored into the rent instead of the tenants paying the utils themselves yes?
