I'm thinking that Airbnb would have to earn me quite a lot more than just renting to a family, otherwise from a $ point of view, why pay capital gains.

@Ryan Maguire water in basements in the Midwest is almost a given unless you take steps to control it...what you are describing is a freak event...the sewer system was overwhelmed...getting 5in rain in this part of the country usually only happens from hurricanes from the Gulf...Sounds like you got it sorted...could have been worse

I’ve had many inquires on property ie can we schedule a viewing, when can we see property, do you accept pets etc. the problem is, I’ll reply back to everyone but there is not follow-up.
