I've heard stories that they are stinking bastards but have been fortunate not to have to find that out for myself.

I always discuss investments with others in an investor club because other people might think of things that I might miss.

Personally I like knowing we are offering a safe and habitable place to live for those who are less fortunate in Las Vegas and cannot afford to buy and/or are in a temporary position and prefer to rent.

If you are seeking out asset accumulation and equity appreciation over the long term then there are certainly fortunes to be made.

You may be the fortunate guy who has low expenses over the long run but counting on that is going against the statistics. 

Currently no mortgage on either (I own them free and clear) and both in great shape (we were fortunate to be the beneficiaries to substantial grants that allowed for new roofs, furnaces, upgrades, etc, in 2017).

The cruise industry will rebound and they’ll make a fortune.
