Most homes that can charge 1200+ costs about $215kBut on the other end of the spectrum, homes that are more on the cheap side (50k, 60k, etc) only call for about $550/650/mo. and more repairs, etc.

It makes sense that your looking for extra cash to pay off debt, I'm on the other end of the spectrum looking to Buy & Hold real estate for cash flow.

@Zachary Caudill Its a pretty broad question and a lot will depend on your situation.

My degree is in Leadership and Entrepreneurship, both of which I love and are very broadly applicable. 

so pulling trigger but my partner/hubby is of the opposite spectrum (speculative) so between the 2 of us, we strike the RIGHT BALANCE.but its a constant battle. my objections and his eagerness. 

It doesn't appear to have a very broad economic base with the majority of jobs being in military and healthcare.

We have direct tv and spectrum cable services provided by the HOA as well, so not really sure if the guests prefer both or if the smart tv is enough.  

You want to appeal to the masses...... not one end of the spectrum or the other or a smaller subset....that's reality.Just like selling a house..... you pick colors and décor that is going to appeal to as many people as possible....despite what you like and would want to live in, not everyone will have the same taste.

I think the forums are too broad and general and we need to tighten things up as it's becoming too messy and less user friendly, not more.  

Risk is a spectrum, so find a place that makes you both comfortable.
