We did not have the Internet and the 5 and 10 years to a Million in Real Estate books and courses.

My Dentist spent 1.5 million pimping out his offices and is now freaking out..  

When I lived in Southern California I worked at a firm that designed ultra modern homes in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu and so on for a homes that sold between the low price of $10 to $50 million dollars.

The building is flex use industrial and market value is about $2.2 million and our option price is $1.4 million. 

Over a 7 year period I think it will be an attractive investment.  

If you have a million plus in assets you should already have an umbrella policy, just add the rental to it.

Hey Eric, This is (in some cases in Denver, literally) the million dollar question right now. 

I bought a business from someone established in an S Corp, believing he's bullet proof, got a million in liability insurance, then he was sued for $3 million.

I know of one coming available in my area for around 2 million.

One thing to keep in mind if you do rent is the type of clientele the units will attract and if you're comfortable working with that type of clientele.
