In Las Vegas, a whopping 51 percent of purchases consisted of absentee transactions; while this is more typical in a vacation destination like Las Vegas, that total is still a full 10 percentage point higher than average.

There has always been a real shortage of safe, clean and affordable housing in the Branson, Mo. area, the mini Vegas without the gabling....and no Austin doesn't have more shows. :)Problem is, the service industry folks have slim choices in housing, usually the singles and some young families double up in rentals.  

They are also building a casino development on the Mohawk River waterfront.  

And those buyers were not broke.. of course they spent 25k or more to be there.. but those that bought in Vegas and in Orlando on the deals i funded.. those properties have doubled easily.. so for those students they more than made their money back.. the ones that did nothing and faded away well they are 25 to 40k poorer..

Some people have taken their paychecks to the casino and hit it big.
