@Tam Le Usually you can't, because as per the rules, properties involved in 1031 exchanges must be held for productive use in trade, business or for investment.

Hi everyone, I'm a young professional who has one rental underneath his belt and i want to buy more, specifically a property in Trenton, i heard it could be good for cash flow, i am a handy man, more specifically an electrician, I'm willing to trade knowledge for work. im really looking for single family homes that are along the hamilton/trenton border that may or may not need work but turn into something worth while, does anyone know what specific neighborhoods are worth looking into?
