@Elizabeth ColegroveHopefully you have some time to answer this question, as you seem very knowledgeable in the VA side of things.Occupancy requirements say that you must "intend" to live in the residence and I couldn't find a specified amount of time on an "official" site or document although people tend to assume it's 12 months.
