Which is complicated, and there isn't a testing suite to make sure you won't break stuff with new developments.

My question to you all is, mindset aside (tenacity, persistence, creativity, networking, optimism, etc.) what type of educational background seems best suited to successful real estate investors?

The way I think it would be the easiest to find a deal that meets that criteria in our area would be looking for REO properties.Seems to me that you're looking to buy and hold, and I'm mostly looking to flip properties.If you're starting, we could probably team up so we help eachother finding deals that best suit our preferences, and/or crowdfund our fist deal.Hit me up if you're interested!

I'd have to agree with you @Amit M. on the fact that building out luxury and renting would just really be a disservice when comes time to sell...and if a rental in the first place, it should be built to suit.

Different people mesh well together and may be best suited to help you reach your goals.

A quiet title is a suit filed in court and takes about 1K to be done. 

I'm in Oklahoma City and while not buying a lot right now, do have the cash for deals that suit. 

Don't let a fancy suit intimidate you, find people that think like you do, and use them exclusively,and don't forget to keep them fairly compensated.

The building would be a prime location for a developer to make executive suites for professional offices as it is literally blocks from the court house.
