It would be nice if all listings (via MLS or fsbo) received a fair shake with agents, but true that not all listings are created equal and no doubt implicit bias comes into play for all parties.

Although my husband is a agent and it was easy to put in the MLS, he didn’t want to be involved in showing the property (we have demanding w-2 jobs and 3 kids) so we found a local agent who agreed to take any potential tenants who contacted us directly and they would receive that $750 commission if one of those qualified and moved in.

I was laid off Jan 1 and received a nice severance, I cashed in both my 401k and my pension (yeah, I know) and I'm close to 190k liquid, but have no income..
