It would be devastating to overextend yourself and have the unexpected occur on FOUR projects, to the extent that you are unable to rent them and now you are stuck with four house payments, insurance, taxes, etc. and I assume you plan on having a primary residence, so five payments.

The only property tax discounts in Mecklenburg county that I am aware of are for the elderly low income households (65+) and/or disabled veterans and that only applies to their primary residence.

That should not vary for the term of the contract.Now have them explain all their crap fees: fuel surcharge, city surcharge, fuel surcharge on the city curcharge (I love that one).If they are "getting froggy" with what they actually bill, hold them accountable!

I have the cash reserves to replace the whole thing (thankfully) but I'm curious to know what others think.Additional background, I have to replace another AC unit on my primary residence this year also so I'd like to be in a position to quote two units and get a discount.
