I grew up in Southern California (mostly Encinitas) and I've spent most of my adult life in Northern California.

I was burnt out from cubicle life but that is a dangerous place to start anything.

Maybe losing 10 lbs was not my personal definition of a success story when applied to myself, but for someone who has struggled their entire life, it might be monumentalThe reason I consider it a success story is because both my wife and I came from families that never owned property, never went to college, never accumulated much wealth at all, and were truly never financially stable at all.

I feel bad that people are going to lose their shirts, houses, life savings and retirement accounts because of these moves, but they're taking uncalculated risks that have worse odds than playing roulette.

Hello Beloved BP Community - I come to you once again for advice:I spent the last 10 years of my life being a W2 individual with decent income.  

I was told by multiple people in the real estate world that I would only be able to use the VA loan twice in my entire life.

In other words, even if everything goes to sh1t in your life, at lease in your older years you will have some money to live off.

I know its hard to give this type of advice because of all the variables and everyone is in a different place/moment with their real estate careers, but I would like to know how YOU would use it at this moment in time in your life.
