It takes money and/or mad skills to make money.

Investors often believe they can just do anything they can put in writing and disclose their way out of liability, not true.Folks need to speak to their attorney instead of self medicating. :)

We gave another trusted worker an advance of $200 for the holidays and then he had a medical emergency and couldn't pay it back right away, so we told him not to worry about it until his health improves.

It is either education, experience, or your interview skills and resume/cover letter writing needs some improvement.

A skillful negotiator can add a ton of value here.

It's fairly easy if you have some handyman skills.

As a new real estate investor and using my research skills I discovered that I learn better when I can get information in shorter bits.

I got sucked in spending more time on oversight, management & operating issues than on dealmaking which is a more valuable use of time.I'm not saying not to do it, because there is money to be made in any sector depending on your skills & situation.
