Might be a little long winded but I don’t really know who else to ask and there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable individuals on here.

A property is only good as the tenants that inhabit it and the individuals that manage it.

Speaking with the current manager, he says there is demand for the units and when first renting out was getting 5 applications per day until filled, but that only 1 tenant in about 25-30 applicants was qualified.

Hello Bigger Pocket's community,      I am always on the lookout of ways that I can network with other, high performance individuals in the real estate business. 

IMO manager vs. owner is a personal decision and can be done either way,personally I am completely on the manager train 😃 tenants are more likely to make strong demands if they know you are the owner.
