I spoke to a property manager I know and she said she hasn't had any problem finding good tenants for her available units, whether SFR's or duplexes, indicating that demand for rentals is still strong here.I hope that helps!

I never look at tax appraisal as any indicator of value....look at real comps.

A significant number of bad reviews (especially in the last 2 years) clearly indicate a pattern and you should think twice about hiring this company.Do a contractor license lookup online.

I would just be weary that if it's an actual opportunity because nothing in the post really indicates that it is.

A messy job will indicate that the flipper is disorganized. 

As later when you decide to refinance or sell can the issue arise where the nominee trustee may be required even if the land trust indicates that the nominee trustee resigns after it is deeded and appoints the successor trustee who is the true owner? 

As a follow up, I can add...I made the 2020 tax return as discussed above and indicated that the exchange property had not been selected yet.I had been looking for a DST investment but could not find one with the needed l/V of ~75% which I needed to make the 1033 exchange requirements with the cash available for the Insurance and sale proceeds. 

The fact they are complaining online might be an indication the property manager dealt with them properly so be sure to ask the manager for their side of the story.7.
