It's a wild story actually, they are becoming minimalist and moving cabin in the woods. 

Plumbing repairs:  replacing faucets, garbage disposals, replacing bathtubs or toilets, other minor repairs but not digging up pipes type stuff ect...Painting inside including patching holes Carpentry: installing doors, cabinets, deck refinishing and repair (not replacement), building/installing/repairing metal or wood gates or fencing Flooring installation: tile, bamboo or wood Changing light fixtures, switches, outlets, ceiling fans ect..Basically anything that will not require a permit Thank you for your help! 

The wood is ugly from weathering, it is literally falling down; a whole section of it loses attachment at either end, it has multiple patches from holes at the bottom.

I am sold on the car and how you buy them and knock on wood mine have been bullet proof.. my S I had 3 years not one thing to fix..

I like the vinyl planks that look like hard wood floor. 

So far, everything has been going smoothly *knocks on wood*.

(aside from the countertops which i will be building from solid wood slabs of maple covered in epoxy.) i run a business milling and salvaging trees and building furniture. 3 months is a long time to go without a kitchen and i could only imagine it turned out incredible!

I'm looking for my first rental property and many of the older homes in my area have wood burning fireplaces.  

I see a lot of signs around for camp wood, too.

At the end of the day, flooring just doesn't last for 20 years unless you are putting in hard wood or ceramic tile.
