Apparently, they can't stop you unless they've stayed in that day and bolted the door in which case you won't have access.But they can't do that forever so try every day after if that happens.  

Hi all,When I bought my house roughly 2 years ago, the gentleman next door was explaining to me that he was on disability, however, his checks weren't coming in fast enough, and he was going to lose his house. 

Behind closed doors or anyplace hidden from view, one on one, you are not safe with a stranger. 

Well, not right next door but pretty close.

Our main drivers were: Son being in almost college age by then and us being close to retirement, so having a paid off house, is a nice thing.Now, we have family coming to live with us temporarily(not sure how long though) so we are considering buying a bigger house as one option.
