hi from austin tx. so been hanging around here trying to figure out how i wanted to get started. well figured it out. i am selling my house, cashing it out, because i do not want to use it as a rental. bought another house that i will hack then turn it into a rental in a cpl years but in the mean time i am looking at additional properties in areas outside of austin even out of state.my goal is 10 properties before i retire, from my current job, in 6 years. i am looking especially in rural areas.

I'm hoping for your feedback with the intention of discovering and validating some of your common pain points (if any at all) in dealing with current technologies.

Right now my goal is to purchase one property per year, and would prefer to begin my search in Georgia.Any tips about good markets/neighborhoods to look into are most appreciated.

I thought that was an achievable goal but it doesn't look like it is for the Houston market and areas I'm targeting.

You have to determine what your investing goals are to know how to proceed.

100 votes may not seem like much, but it was a goal I set out to achieve several weeks ago. 

My goal is ten rental properties in the next 18 months and I'm really excited that it's finally happening (or at least starting).

My career goals is to gain all the knowledge and expertise of what the real estate field have to offer!
