Criminal and civil charges will not help that.

I can see criminal cases and civil cases.

But the civil clerks in my city were very helpful and it is not the bad or time consuming a process.Zach

But if you do need to take it to court, since they were found at fault in criminal court, civil court has a lower burden of proof so it should be an easy win. 

We are all pretty civil, despite their bad break-up, but we think she is getting the wrong idea with this. 

Remember, you always want to say the minimum possible to avoid any litigation for any reason [Fair Housing etc].
