Charles,I don't know if there are any advantages for not sharing your profile, but I will tell you why I didn't share my profile when I first started.I think my main reason was that I hadn't told everyone that I was investing in real estate, so I didn't want to disclose all my personal information for the fear that someone I know might stumble upon BP and learn what I was upto.

anyyays, i'm thinking we didn't answer your question....my advice is to get a financial calculator..you can find one online for free for now, or download an app if you have a smartphone for free as well...then yhou can input different scenarios to see how long it will take to pay off your mortgage if you do this, or that...that help any or are we still misfiring??
