This was mostly due to our money partner, who has other unrelated business interests that he periodically travels abroad to attend to, leaving the project frozen in place for his return. 

You get way too much time on your hands but you freak out over travelling too far from your properties and end up hanging out in coffee shops all day and posting way too much online - kind of like college.  

I make about 3.5k gross give or take in cash flow from my REI business and I've supplemented the rest of my goal with my E-Commerce earnings.Also, I recently took a trip to the Philippines where I realized I could live pretty darn well for about $1k/month and do all of my online work (REI and E-Commerce) and just live it up and travel.

Another thought about the traveling the country Idea that was mentioned above and your schedule is that send out an invite to some of the towns you will travel to during your away games and meet up. 

I have come across a package of 4 single family homes and a vacant lot that is for sale and has peaked my interest and I got to thinking about how I might try to acquire them...wondering if anyone has any thoughts on financing these other than the options I've already identified below.4 Individual Mortgages (with a 5th for the vacant lot?

If we can get some hierarchy of risk vs reward vs safety as we travel up and down the types of MBS that is being issued the market just "might" sort of make itself.  

I noticed the investors above were working on a prior foreclosure home that they bought at the foreclosure sale, it's on a street that I travel multiple times almost daily.

You are simply a tax agent for the state collecting taxes so they can get better retirement packages, more paid sick days, and more vacation days.

That's not to say we don't represent name brands (travelers, hartford, liberty mutual, etc) but they just don't offer that.

Perhaps I just need to set up in-person meetings with a nice package on myself and my portfolio, and see if I get another answer.......
