However, the price per door can often times be a better measure because it should be similar from property to property (assuming same submarket, style, year built, etc.) and significantly easier to find/figure out.We use both to try and find a happy medium where we can justify to ourselves and investors the reasoning for what we came up with.

Usually it's cheaper and faster to cover it with new siding - what you choose depends on the architectural style of the building.If you are in a dense urban are with property cost over $200/sqft you might want to consider to build.

Given the weaker than normal marketplace I will be reducing the specification somewhat from my prior project, but retaining the overall style and quality that I put into every home.Once I get to the end of the design phase we are making the smallest adjustments possible to the drawings to get it just right.

This semi-detached project has some large tiled areas, so we are using some neutral light grey tile, and combined with an oak floor, darker walnut style cabinets, and white quartz counters makes for a timeless looking package that can suit many colours of paint and furnishings.With the drywall project half done, it is time to really go back and take a hard look at the schedule.
