Both have some very useful statistics and City-Data has an open forum for locals to make comments concerning their specific city when it comes to housing, weather, jobs, traffic etc.

It will be very interesting to see if the foreign investors, many of whom rely on oil revenue for their wealth, will continue to bid up Miami real estate prices.As for your question, I would rather move to SoCal, much better weather.

Thanks Bruce, Kelly,I live in a midwestern city that I love dearly but has been on the steady decline and I badly want to move (think rust belt, cloudy days, and cold weather).
