Plus, people have a hard time seeing around other people furniture/junk/clutter and envisioning themselves living in a place.

I would argue that virtually anything that needs to be sold needs to be marketed.

I will add--Know your tenant base--know their "Culture".Some areas abound with Buy here pay here Car lots and Pawn shops for a reason.Some areas are virtually barren of businesses for a reason.Just my 2 cents

Furniture and mattresses with bed bugs .

I Make it easy for people, I let them leave large pieces of furniture and they don't have to clean up because we do total renovations on each apartment.
