Hi everyone,I am in a bit of a situation here and would appreciate all the help.Me and my two partners found a great property that needed about 100k worth of work.

I found and joined BiggerPockets as a Pro member just navigating online, looking for resources to learn, connect and to use the handful of tools they offer.

We found that long term leases are more hassle than they're worth (to us anyway), so we just do month to month. 

She found a new property to move and started to move her things last week and she is finally giving me her keys today afternoon.Thanks for your help!!!

Not to say it's common, they found embezzlements, one guy and his partner had a bookkeeper embezzle over $100,000 over a 2 year period.

I did a quick search, and found some people who said they had borrowed against their TSP for real estate investing purposes, but I was wondering if I could pool the hive mind for some more details on the process.When borrowing from the TSP do you arrange it through the TSP or is it a 3rd party lender with the TSP as collateral?

I like some areas in and around Ronkonkoma and Huntington but have also found myself searching in Middle Island recently.

Anybody have any tips or advice on how they found their mentor?

During the financing portion, once the lender found the septic failed, he indicated it needed to be replaced or FHA wouldn't finance.
