Hi Jonathan,The thought of analyzing deals, the lingo, the inputs and formulas, fear of missing something critical and blowing it, are real concerns.

Our fear is when we go to evict her, she will tear the apartment up.  

The concept of contagion….I heard this concept on a podcast or a webinar last week that really made me think… (I forget which one sorry LOL)The way the concept of contagion was described, is when people as a group have a massive collective fear about an event happening like a stock/housing market collapse to the point that it ACTUALLY happens.

Im fearful I have over analyzed my position and now blind to the best way to go about doubling down.

I like the idea of paying $1,000 per deal I close but fear people will easily get bored with how long it will take to get that first check

@Brian Christensen Fear can make a person do things that are unimaginable.

My biggest fear would be bed bugs.

@Steve Olafson If I understand him correctly, his tenant is the victim in this case, forced to break a lease due to fear of the VP's tenant.  

An economist I once listened to put it this way regarding gentrification(which in some ways is the opposite of rent control): “When nice apartments are built, people fear being priced out of a neighborhood.

I personally am very happy to not have payments and fear of dealing with them if the homes were vacant.
