Right now, I'm in the process of buying my first single family rental property which is exciting.

We may also rent out the in-law unit to help cover travel expenses.Question:Should we hire a property management company to look after things while we're gone?

I have started my goal setting process however I am looking to do some more research before I fine tune them as to the exact type, sizes, and locations.1 year goal - Create $1000/month cash flow2 year goal - Create $3000/month cash flow3 year goal - Create $7000/month cash flowI know this will be a very interesting journey and I am excited to get started.

Both of us are financially motivated and excited to learn as much as we can about real estate investing. 

The mark of any good con is to play on someone's emotions (whether they be positive or negative) In this case the joy and excitement that you are felling may potentially be a bad tenants open door to their next landlord victim.  

(note: I am living in Roseburg, OR right now, but as a travel therapist, will be moving to WA very soon)

I am so excited to join the BiggerPockets Community, and to  learn more about the process of investing.
