I would recommend talking to at least 5 different brokers and focusing on the culture/atmosphere, CE and support options as well as community involvement.   

The reason I decided to not follow the Ramsey plan was because I kept doing the math and no matter what, you won't be able to make as much money or become as wealthy if you use cash if you buy right and have good cash flow.

I live in a nice neighbourhood, the typical single family home area but my dream is bigger so I drive all the way over to the other side of the city where the wealthy live and walk thru he neighbourhood and up the hills to see the view over my city, 4 -5 times a week!..

Instead they like being the bankers and focus on eliminating risks rather than becoming wealthy.

Some investors become wealthy beyond imagination and some don't do so well.

I was under the impression that I needed to be wealthy to get started and we were a long way from that!
