My thinking is that if she wasn't involved, your place probably wasn't selected because of the building, but that she contributed to being targeted, left her big screen TV box out for the trash, maybe she has issues at work or in social settings, break ins are usually because of who is behind the door more than the color of the door.Cutting her lose may save your property from further damage as well, the police may give you some advice along these lines, you never know who a tenant "hangs with".
