I asked how much you (referring to other investors) pay yourself, so I can get real world example of how other people structure paying themselves. 

They create the business plan and investment summary for prospective investors and work with a syndication attorney to structure the deal.Then, they start looking for limited partner passive investors who want to invest money into the deal.

My suggestion, before spending a bunch of time on talking with lawyers (and money) maybe find your partners and develop the structure that would be acceptable for all the parties involved.

Talk to a tax professional about how to legally structure that.

All negotiable based on syndicator structure.

I did eventually find a very good cpa who has a lot of clients doing solo 401ks and gave me great answers on how to structure this so that I don’t run into irs issues.
