How do you charge tenants for oil heat?

You can know and record when, for how long, and how much energy is used by the house heating system.

Tenants won't care and run up heating and air with everything else.

Hey, I always include the heat disclosure on my leases.

Oil heat with the tank in the basement but no AC.

I tried some cheap stuff from home depot with adhesive strips on the edges and the subflooring heat made big cracks open up (the vinyl expands with heat and the adhesive softens.

Heating system  needs to be replaced, it used water radiators  with an oil furnace.

Overall, the property is in pretty good condition (albeit is located in a not-so-good part of town, but definitely getting better) and was built in 1950, with brick exterior.Property Price: 325kRents: The property pulls in around 4.3k in rent each month. Replace a control module in central heat unit in a basement that failed because it got flooded. 

One unit did not even have heat - just space heaters.
